To bridge the price gap between the street-oriented Brembo GT versus the track-going Brembo GT-R kit, Brembo has introduced the GT-S Kit. The GT-S comes with a pair 6-piston cast monobloc calipers with the heritage Brembo branding.

What sets the GT-S apart from the GT is better heat rejection through the use of a recessed boot design, and it’s own stainless steel, non-ventilated inserts. The GT kit uses rubber dust seals, which make it a better caliper style for all-year, all-weather street use, but like all calipers with rubber dust seals it is susceptible to melting seals under extreme load. That’s not a concern for the GT-S as it borrows its internal design from the GT-R kit.
